4 Electric Motors: Quad-Motor Ferrari Control, Corner by Corner

A new kind of pulse runs through Ferrari Elettrica. Quad-motor propulsion transforms instant torque into something more rare: measured, repeatable control that feels deliberate at every input. Four independent electric motors share a unified, performance-focused layout, delivering razor-sharp response and seamless torque delivery at each wheel. Formula 1 inspired thinking shapes the rotor through a Halbach array configuration, designed to maximize torque density while supporting weight optimization.

4 Active Suspension: Third-Generation Control, Refined at Speed

Ferrari’s third-generation active suspension is engineered to balance comfort and dynamic precision in real time. Built on a 48V architecture, it delivers independent vertical-force control at each wheel, updating key parameters 200 times per second to keep the chassis composed through braking, turn-in, and corner exit. A lower center of gravity and reduced polar moment of inertia mean the system can achieve balance with lower active forces, helping distribute cornering loads smoothly across all four wheels. Result: a ride that stays calm over imperfect pavement, while remaining sharp and confident when pace increases.

Minimum Weight Battery Pack: 880V Ferrari Energy

Assembled in Maranello, the 880V battery pack is engineered to deliver high energy density (195 Wh/kg) while keeping mass low and centralized for the kind of balance a Ferrari demands. Instead of treating the battery as a separate component, the pack is packaged to support chassis dynamics, stability, and everyday usability. The battery housing is positioned within the chassis for side-impact protection The cooling plate helps shield against vertical impacts from below while keeping cell temperatures uniform. The Removable and repairable pack is designed to be removed and serviced if needed without damaging structural elements, supporting long-term ownership confidence

Real Ferrari Sound

Ferrari Elettrica is engineered to deliver a real, authentic sound, amplified from mechanical vibrations rather than manufactured theatrics. Sound is used as driver feedback only when it adds value, helping you read the car and the road with more confidence. Most importantly, it embraces electric identity designed to feel like Ferrari without imitating an ICE soundtrack.

Ferrari EV E-Axles: In-House Power, F1-Derived Precision<

Ferrari’s EV system is built around two e-axles, each pairing two in-house permanent magnet synchronous motors for a four motor layout that prioritizes response, balance, and control. This isn’t electric power for commuting it’s electric performance engineered to feel intentional at speed. F1-derived Halbach array rotor is designed to support higher torque density while helping reduce weight. Torque vectoring distributes power with precision for sharper turn-in, cleaner exits, and more confidence under load. The front axle disconnect and improves efficiency when full front-drive support isn’t needed.

Ferrari Chassis Innovation

Ferrari Elettrica introduces a new chapter in chassis engineering, pairing sustainability with uncompromising performance intent. It’s the first Ferrari chassis built with 75% recycled aluminium, developed to deliver efficiency, safety, and precision without softening the driving experience. Chassis philosophy draws from mid/rear-engined Berlinetta models, prioritizing balance and responsiveness. With the battery fully integrated into the floor, the design achieves an 80 mm lower center of gravity, helping the car feel more planted, stable, and composed through high-speed transitions.
